Suita Bible Gospel Church is a non-denominational Christian Bible-based church in Suita, Osaka, Japan. The church was founded by Pastor Keita Takagi in 1972 after graduating from Dallas Theological Seminary in Dallas, Texas, USA.

1972～

In January 1972, Pastor Keita Takagi started a Bible study group with two attendees in a small office in front of Hankyu Senriyama Station. As attendees grew, he eventually started Sunday services.

1974～

In 1974, the church began renting a local community hall for worship services on Sunday mornings. At the time, Pastor Takagi was serving as a pastor on Sundays and as the chairman of an English conversation school during the week to fund his own livelihood and evangelism. As church membership grew to about 60 people, the church realized the need for a church building, and in 1981 formed a church building committee.

1982～

In January 1982, the church was granted land and a building in Senriyama Higashi 1-chome, Suita City, and after renovating the interior, May 82 started holding services there. At the same time, Pastor Takagi was able to devote himself to pastoral ministry full-time. As a result, with the Lord’s blessing, the church continued to grow

2000～

The church moved to its current location in Honami-cho in May 2000. In September 2001, Pastor Takagi's cancer recurred, and the vision of "spreading the pure, crystal clear gospel of Grace throughout Japan" was entrusted to the next pastors.

2001～

In December 2001, Pastor Takagi was called home, and at the same time, three new pastors were appointed: Senior Pastor Gensho Yamaguchi, Pastor Masafumi Sasaki, Pastor Tamako Takagi, and missionary Jeff Tomlinson. Since January 2008, the church has been run by Senior Pastor Gensho Yamaguchi and Pastor Masafumi Sasaki.

From January 2012

The church was newly managed by three pastors: Senior Pastor Masafumi Sasaki, Pastor Gensho Yamaguchi, and Pastor Satoaki Okamura. With the goal of "A church that would last 100 years, to be a light from Suita to the world," the church has been working to pass on its faith to the next generation. After this, Pastor Kohei Kajiyama joined the church in April 2018, further strengthening the faith-passing efforts to the next generation.

April 2020

Pastor Kohei Kajiyama became the senior pastor and established three pillars as a new vision: to raise up Christians who put God first (a church that raises), to foster a welfare-mindedness (a church that reaches out), and to take on challenges (a church that challenges). To realize these visions, church members are working together to move forward.
